Colloquium ‘Malicious Chemistry, a debate against chemophobia'
During this round-table discussion many of the topics associated with chemistry were questioned, since in the last years a strong trend in the media has developed that tends to identify the term “chemistry” with the Artificial and, therefore, with the opposite to natural, ecological or organic.
This false artificial-natural dichotomy is attributing an unjustified halo of ‘evil’ to chemistry, obviating that without its contribution in so many areas of our daily lives humanity would not have reached the hope and quality of life that today we enjoy.
